Hey, I wanted to show you something
today. Patients ask me and sometimes
they have areas in the muscle that are
really tight. They’ve got some trigger
points and what can they do about it?
So, here’s a a very easy yet effective
way to deal with some of these spots.
One of the biggest ones people get is
kind of right just inside of their
shoulder blade in the middle of the back
because of everything we do, we spend
time on the computer. So, we use a
lacrosse ball. And this can be done on
the floor, but it can also be done
standing. So, I want to show you a
version of it when you’re standing
that’s very easy to do. So, first you’re
going to get yourself a lacrosse ball.
You can get it on Amazon. It’s a hard
ball. It’s not a tennis ball. It’s
different. It’s a hard ball. And then
you’re going to do
this. You’re going to get yourself to a
wall of some kind. Get the ball
there. And then you can roll and get it
right into the position you want. So
right there, I’m right on that trigger
point. You can just dig right in. You
can kind of cross fiber and grind
through it. This can also be used on the
side of your shoulder. It can be used on
your lower back. It can be used on a
glute. It can really be used anywhere.
But it’s in a very effective way for you
yourself without someone else to be able
to apply deep pressure and really work
those trigger points out. I hope that
