chiropractor have you been involved in a
car crash or has someone you know been
involved in a car crash lately I wanted
to explain a few things to you typically
when someone gets in a car crash if you
have injuries you think are severe
enough you might wind up going to the
hospital and when you go to the hospital
what they’re going to do they’re going
to do some diagnostic tests usually some
x-rays often times here in Del re
they’ll do CT scans and then if you
don’t have anything that’s
lifethreatening
they’re going to give you a prescription
for some medications and they’re going
to send you out the door the job of the
hospital is to make sure you’re not
going to die and then get you out of
there so they can take care of the next
person who might have life-threatening
injuries their job is not to make sure
your back or neck is okay that’s not
their job my job is to make sure your
spine your back and your neck are okay
and it heals properly so you don’t wind
up with a big mess 3 4 5 20 years later
so when someone gets in a crash they
should come and see me because what I’m
going to do is I’m going to carefully
evaluate every vertebrae their entire
spine that’s not done at the hospital so
we’re going to evaluate every vertebrae
I might take a few of my own X-rays and
then I’m going to put together a plan to
help this person heal and get better so
then in the future they don’t wind up
with a big giant mess we want the spine
to heal as good as it can with the least
least amount of scar tissue so if you’re
ever in a wreck if anyone you knows ever
in a wreck tell them to come and see me
and we’ll do everything we can to make
sure we put them back together so they
don’t have a future full of misery or
