๐ ๐ ๐ Hey, Dr. Alter, your Delray ๐ Beach Chiropractor. ๐ Today I wanna talk to you about goals. ๐ Goals. Do you have written down goals, I mean goals for where you wanna go in your life, for your love and ๐ relationships, for your health and fitness, for your career, for your financial future? We break things down into four categories to help put everything kind of in its own box.
โWe have loved. And relationships. โThis would ๐ include all spiritual and God stuff. โWe have our health and ๐ fitness, ๐ we’ve got career, all of our work stuff, and ๐ then we’ve got money. โThis would include debt, this would include trips. It would include things you want to get, โso everything falls into these categories.
โYou want to, for the ๐ ultimate, have goals set for all of those. โWhere do you want to go with your relationships? Where do you want to go with your spirituality? Where do you want your weight? Where do you want your fitness? What do you want to be eating? What do you want to not be eating your career? I wanna get that new job.
I want to advance in my job. I want to make this much money targets. And then what about with money? I want to pay off that debt. I want to have this much money saved by the time I’m 65. I want to go on a trip to Costa Rica. ๐ Goals and targets. โYou know, if you don’t have these set, how do you ๐ expect to get there?
You’re just floating. What if you got in your car tomorrow and you ๐ wanted to go to Orlando? There’s Orlando. ๐ And you didn’t have the goal to get to Orlando Set. You knew you wanted to go there, but you didn’t set that goal and โyou just ๐ started driving.
โWhat’s the likelihood you’re gonna get to Orlando? ๐ It’s ridiculous. The pilot wouldn’t do that, but we all do that with our life. I’m encouraging you โto set goals. Write them down, โtake them from nothing, okay? Floating ๐ around, think them through and then take a pen and put them on paper and take them from nothing to something on a piece of paper, and have your โlife be drawn in that direction โso that you can wind up having your life be the ๐ way that you want it.
