And what we’ve found over the last 15 years after seeing a thousand plus headache patients is that many times there’s a problem in the neck that is contributing, if not a hundred percent, causing their headaches.

So when someone gets in a crash, they should come and see me because what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna carefully evaluate every vertebrae, their entire spine.

And with all of that information, you make smart decisions about getting yourself back on track with your normal activities.

What is it gonna take? Do you want to get a lot better? Well, it’s probably gonna take a lot of work.

Today I want to talk about fitness and working out and how it affects the neck and what to be careful of. The key, the key when you’re working out when it comes to your neck, is that your neck is in a neutral position.

I wanted to talk today about sufficient rest and sleep and how important it is. Do you get enough sleep?

You can’t have that. And how about the rest of your health in terms of your spine? That’s where chiropractors come in. Is your nerve system working properly? Are you in pain

So really, both ways are okay, but really to answer the question, if you don’t feel good and you’re on your way to the gym, it’s better to come and get adjusted first.

We have patients that start doing well here, and they say, why didn’t my medical doctor tell me about this? Well, there’s a few reasons.

If you have a spine and you wanna keep it in as good shape as possible, you should go regularly and get chiropractic care the same way you take care of your teeth

That’s what the chiropractic adjustment does. That’s what’s actually happening when we apply that force.

All of the twisting and the bending, any injuries or car crashes, lifting cases of water, sitting in the car, traveling on airplanes. All of that has got you in the condition you’re at right now.

The nerve is coming out through a hole and we want the most amount of space there and what can happen is this vertebrae can shift and start to get stuck right here.

And then most of the time I’m taking a set of digital x-rays. We wanna see, there’s a saying to see is to know and to not see is to guess, and we don’t guess with your health.

You get one body that you’ve gotta navigate through life for your entire life. You can’t trade it, you don’t get a new one. So why don’t people take care of it like they take care of their car?

You break your arm you’ve got shattering arm pain and you go to the hospital for relief. The symptom is gone. Is the problem gone? You haven’t even started.

And in between these vertebrae are nerves and the scientists were able to attach a wire to one of these nerves and put the other end, attach it to a light bulb, and the electrical power from the brain coming down and out that nerve is able to light the light bulb.
