Hey, Dr. Ryan Alter your Delray Beach chiropractor. A lot of people ask what makes our office so unique? Why do so many people love your office? Well, we take what’s called a three-pronged approach. So when someone comes into my office, well, of course first we sit and we do a history and then a careful examination to find out which vertebrae are actually causing the problem.
And then most of the time I’m taking a set of digital x-rays. We wanna see, there’s a saying to see is to know and to not see is to guess, and we don’t guess with your health. So we wanna see what does the spine look like on this particular patient. And then after that I’m gonna put together a plan to try to get you the best results possible.
And a lot of times we’re gonna use a three-prong approach. So what are those three prongs? Well, the first one. Is the inner segmental table, and it’s a table that kind of rolls through the spine and it’s stretching and exercising each of the individual spinal joints. It’s starting to break up some minor fixations in there, and everybody loves that table.
And then of course, we have our spinal decompression tables. This is a computerized table where we can actually lay the patient down and then using a computer and using a pull and a push type of algorithm, we can gently pull the spine apart, taking pressure off. The discs, the joints, and ultimately the nerves.
Incredible for almost all spinal problems, not only for problems, but for health and maintenance of the spine. And then of course, we have the chiropractic adjustment, the lost art of the chiropractic adjustment, where the chiropractor actually gets their hands on the patient. And of course, the chiropractic adjustment removes pressure from the spine.
It breaks up and arrest the arthritic process. It increases mobility and flexibility and in turn, circulation. And of course it takes pressure off and stimulates the nerves to heal. So a three-prong approach. All mechanical to help people that are in crisis, but also to keep people’s spine in as best shape possible.
