Hmm… This doesn’t make sense.

a patient of mine just said something to
me that makes no sense at all and here’s
what he said well I’ll give you a quick
history he’s a senior he works out I
think six days a week he’s always in the
gym and he comes in in crisis and we put
him through a plan and get him in really
good shape and then he gets on a
maintenance plan and he chooses to do
every two weeks which is probably not
enough with a Six-Day workout but it’s
the best he can do so he comes in today
and he says I want to hold all of my
remaining visits I think maybe 11 or 12
I want to hold them until I hurt myself
in the gym and then I’ll use them can
you believe that I I I said hold on a
second let me get this straight you want
to stop coming completely while you
continue to work out six days a week and
you want to wait until you hurt yourself
and then you’re going to use the visits
and he says yes and I said that doesn’t
make any sense so I had to kind of spin
things around for him and I said that
would be like you now that you’re in
good shape physically quit working out
and wait until you’re completely out of
shape and then start working out again
it’s just it doesn’t make any sense the
moral of the story is it is so much
easier to keep yourself good than to
wait until it gets bad and try to work
yourself out of Crisis not only in
Fitness but in all aspects of your
Health you don’t want to wait until it’s
a mess you want to do everything you can
on a daily or weekly basis to keep
yourself in as good shape as possible
