If you’ve never been to a chiropractor
or you’re thinking about going to the
chiropractor for the first time, here’s
what I recommend you do. I recommend
that you schedule a consultation. Okay?
There’s no charge to visit with me. You
come in and what we’ll do is we’ll sit
down, me and you, and you’ll explain to
me what’s going on, your history, how
long you’ve been dealing with it, what
you’ve potentially tried, what’s helped,
what hasn’t helped. And if I think
you’re a good candidate and we decide to
proceed forward, what I’m going to do is
I’m going to do a careful evaluation of
your spine. I’m actually going to lie
you down and feel and evaluate every
vertebrae in your spine. This has
probably never been done. Even if you’ve
been to an orthopedic doctor or your
primary, most likely nobody has actually
put their hands on and evaluated your
spine. So, we do this careful evaluation
to find which vertebrae are actually
causing the problem. And then often
times I’m going to take some digital
X-rays. So X-rays that are done on a
computer. They come up instantly. We’re
going to then look at them. They’re
going to show me the underlining
condition of the spine. What are we up
against here? How bad is it? It’s going
to show me the positioning of the bones.
And then I’m going to do a little bit of
work on you. I’m actually going to get
my hands on you. I’m going to show you a
few things and kind of get a feel for
your spine. And then with all of that
information, I’m going to take the
history you told me, the evaluation
findings, a careful look at those
X-rays, and any feedback I got from
actually putting my hands on you. And
with all of that information, I’m going
to put together a plan that I think is
going to get you the best results using
the three things we have in our office,
the intersegmental traction table, the
chiropractic adjustments, and the spinal
decompression. All conservative tools,
my bare hands and a few tables. No
drugs, no needles, no surgery.
